GS Truck Stop at I-90 Exit 205 is hiring a third shift clerk. The quiet hours are their own job: fewer customers, but you are largely running the store yourself, and the morning crew depends on what you get done.

Hours

Third shift, roughly 10 PM to 6 AM. Full-time and part-time schedules available, including weekends.

What you will do

  • Run the register through the quiet hours, following every cash-handling and personal-safety procedure exactly.
  • Check ID on every age-restricted sale, every time, following Ohio law and store policy without exception.
  • Get the shift’s restocking, cleaning and paperwork done so the morning crew opens to a ready store.
  • Keep the coffee station, fuel court and restrooms clean and stocked while traffic is light.
  • Keep an eye on the store and the lot, and call for help when something is not right.
  • Hand over a counted register and a clear shift note to the morning clerk.

What we are looking for

  • At least 18, and able to meet Ohio’s age requirements for the age-restricted products we sell.
  • Comfortable working on your own through the quiet hours, and steady when something unexpected happens.
  • Comfortable on your feet for a full shift, and able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Dependable attendance and reliable transportation for a shift that starts late and ends early.
  • Basic math, and comfortable with a touchscreen register once you have been shown it.

Education

No formal education requirement. A high school diploma or GED is helpful but not required.

Experience

No previous experience required — we train you. Previous third shift, convenience store or gas station experience is a plus.
